AUBREY LOOTS
Born and raised in South Africa, Aubrey is now transcontinental, traveling around the globe, teaching classes and workshops, hosting seminars, doing hair shows, and representing Wella as a Well Professionals Top Artist and GHD America Top Artist. During this time as a Top Artist, Aubrey has built a very loyal clientele in addition to teaching around the world, in North America, Canada, UK, Europe, Morocco, South Africa, Japan, Korea, and Malaysia. Aubrey also Leads Fashion Week Shows in LA, New York, Paris, London and South Africa.
Aubrey has also been the featured Guest Artist for Wella Professionals @ “Wella Trend Vision Awards” In Malaysia, Korea, South Africa, Japan, Holland and Belgium.
Whether it is a Photo shoot, Runway show, Makeover show, or a Red Carpet Celebrity event, Aubrey Loves the world of Fashion. Aubrey has been the Key Stylist at Fashion Week, leading Teams for over 200 Runway shows and Installations over the last 12 years and says that as challenging as it can be, it’s the place where he learns and teaches the most.

Aubrey has also worked on several makeover shows for OWN, Lifetime and ABC Television and was the Lead Stylist for all 3 seasons of “The Taste” on ABC Television with Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain and was lead stylist for the entire 2014 Old Spice Campaign in North America.

Aubrey is very passionate about Educating and Inspiring Hairstylists around the world.

In his latest Venture, Aubrey's Hair Adventures, Aubrey has created a unique opportunity for hairstylists from around the world to join him on a 7 – 10 day all-inclusive creative and cultural retreat to some of his favorite and most Inspiring cities around the world.

In the heart of Portugal, where the Atlantic breeze kisses the land, my journey in the world of hair began. A dreamer with scissors in hand, I embarked on a path that took me across continents and deep into the realms of global hairstyling.
From the sun-kissed shores of Portugal to the bustling streets of Tokyo, each place has been a canvas for my creativity. The rhythm of New York Fashion Week, the elegance of London's runways, and the serenity of a Japanese photoshoot — my shears have danced to the diverse beats of the world.
Fluent in three languages and with a knack for understanding the unspoken languages of style, I've become a storyteller with every strand. But it wasn't just about mastering the art; it was about understanding the universal language that connects hairstylists worldwide — the language
In the whirlwind of my global escapades, I've gained a panoramic view and knowledge of our industry. Every encounter with fellow stylists became a chapter in my book of wisdom. Through these connections, I found that, beyond borders, hairstylists share a language that transcends cultural nuances — a language spoken through the magic of our craft.
While brushing shoulders with stylists from diverse corners of the globe, I realized the power of unity. Each encounter fueled my mission — to empower not just my team back home at Voa Salon & Studio but every stylist I meet along my journey. It's about sharing a worldly view of knowledge, creating a tapestry of styles that unite us all.
Back in Portugal, Salon International is more than a space for hair transformations; it's a hub where global styles meet local flair. With a team inspired by the world, we're set to redefine beauty standards right here in our beloved community.

JAMIE MILMATHER
My love for the hair industry continues to evolve. Utilizing hair as a fabric that not only is woven in to how we feel about ourselves but helps us understand one another.
I have had the opportunity to travel the world learning & creating hair as well as connecting with local stylists in each country I’ve visited. We may not all speak the same language but we can communicate & show our love through hair.
I have been able to bring back my experiences & create bespoke styles for my clients, whether behind the chair or on set. In addition, I’ve use this knowledge to create new and innovative classes for stylists looking to expand their skill set.
Looking forward my passion is combining hair & humanity. I want to help design an aesthetic where all types of hair and beauty are celebrated, changing our lens to see what makes us different makes us beautiful.
WELLA COLOR SPECIALIST / NATURAL TEXTURE / EDUCATOR / PASSIONISTA
PLISMAM SOUSA
A professional hairdresser, coming from a radically different background, a civil engineer by training, Plismam entered the world of the hairdressing salon in 2015 - where he fell in love with the creative process and the power to transform lives through his art.

Born in Belo Horizonte, Plismam trained with leading professionals in Brazil.
His work is defined by practicality and simplicity, adding in sophistication and elegance for stunning results.
​
Attentive to market trends and news, Plismam has been styling in Portugal since 2021, where he gained recognition by winning the Wella TrendVision Nacional 2021, in the “Natural Texture” and “Color Specialist” categories. In 2022 Plismam won the Wella International TrendVision, first place “Natural Texture” and second place “Color Specialist”. This recognition gave Plismam an invitation to be part of the select group of Wella Passionistas.

Currently, Plismam is also part of the Wella team of educators, where he provides training and shares the knowledge acquired throughout his career.

What defines Plasma's style is his relaxed atmosphere and his willingness to provide exceptionally individualized care! All of Plasma's clients leaves their chair with a renewed look and feel!

JAMIE PIERCE-ELWELL
With 12+ years of experience behind the chair, and close to 7 years as an educator with Wella, Jamie loves connecting with stylists of all skill levels and ages.
She strives to bring out people's creativity and passion, building connections through education. She enjoys education in schools to help mold the future stylist as well as a love of educating on a wide variety of topics from color theory, blondes, multi-tonal colors, and styling.
